Key Life Homes has created 10 easy steps to building on your lot. Here they are:
- Select a reputable builder. Make sure the builder provides you with a list of satisfied homeowners.
- Buy your lot. If you already own it you're ahead of the process.
- Become pre-qualified so you will know how much you can afford. This process is made much easier when you use one of our friendly approved mortgage companies. They are here to help you.
- You and your builder go and visit the building site. He will look for things that could make the building process go much smoother; things such as: is there water and sewer available? How about the electricity? Will there be a problem with drainage? What about the soil conditions? These are just a few of the items your builder will research for you. Remember, he's there to help.
- Select your plan from our many plans to choose from, or if you prefer we can build your plan.
- Once your plan has been selected you and your builder will go over all specifications so there will be complete disclosure and no surprises.
- After financing is in place you and your builder will have a ground breaking ceremony and immediately get started building your dream house.
- You and your builder will have several scheduled on site meetings just to make sure you are part of the building process.
- After your home is complete you and your builder will go over a thorough walk-through and demonstration time so that your home is 100% complete when we hand over the keys.
- We present you the keys and you can move into your Key Life dream home.
